Kasbahs & Ksours

The most beautiful kasbahs are the ones located in the valleys of Ounila, Draâ, and Dades. Fortified residences of ancients lords and leaders, constructed on rocky peaks at the edge of cliffs. The main and most famous kasbahs are Telouet (77 km from Ouarzazate), Ait Benhaddou, classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site (30 km), Tifoultout (6 km), Taourirt (in the city center), and Amridil in the Skoura palm grove (40 km).
