The province of Ouarzazate is the ideal region for the development of ecotourism products that reflect the cultural, natural and human values of the territory.
Its natural landscapes, its oases and palm groves, its rich biodiversity and its innumerable local products are all elements that give it a place of first choice as an ecotourism destination
The region of Ouarzazate offers attractive and varied landscapes, alternating the presence of valleys, rivers, mountains; various vegetation and crops in stages, fruit trees and rose bushes, etc., combined with a fauna specific to this biotope.
Note that Ouarzazate and its regions were part of the program, conducted by UNDP between 2000 and 2009, on the conservation of biodiversity through transhumance in the southern slopes of the High Atlas.
